How Spoilt Began
When Spoilt was founded in 2009, the beauty industry looked very different.
Many salons offered only a limited range of treatments, and too often the experience felt predictable and uninspiring. Talented therapists had few opportunities to develop skills or build creativity or work within a supportive team environment.
Having qualified as an International Master Artist Educator and spent years teaching nail technicians throughout the North East and UK, our founder, Vikki Taylor-Dodds, saw first-hand talent that existed within the industry. She also saw how isolated many professionals could feel and how difficult it was to find workplaces that truly invested in education, creativity, and personal development.
She believed there could be something better.
